My father رحمه الله said – it was narrated to me by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, from Salamah bin al-Khaṭṭāb, from Ibrāhīm bin Moḥammed al-Thaqafi, from ʿAlī bin Yaʿla, from Ibrāhīm bin Moḥammed bin Ḥamrān, from his father:

From Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام, who said: Whoever performs ablution and wipes himself (with a handkerchief), a good deed is written for him; and whoever performs ablution and does not wipe himself (with a handkerchief), until [the effects of] his ablution dries, thirty good deeds are written for him.

أبي ( ره ) قال حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله عن سلمة بن الخطاب عن إبراهيم بن محمد الثقفي عن علي بن يعلى عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن حمران عن أبيه عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال : من توضأ وتمندل كتبت له حسنة ومن توضأ ولم يتمندل حتى تجف وضوئه كتب له ثلاثون حسنة
