My father رحمه الله said, it was narrated to me by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, from Salamah bin al-Khaṭṭāb, from Ibrāhīm bin Moḥammed, from ʿImrān al-Zuʿufrāni:

From Abī ʿAbd Allāh [al-Ṣādiq] عليه السلام who said: There is no man who supplicates and concludes with the saying: ‘Whatever Allāh wills, and there is no Might or Strength except with Allāh’ (Mā Shā’ Allāh, Lā Ḥowla wa Lā Quwata illa Billāh), except that his need is answered (i.e. his request is granted).

أبي (ره) قال حدثني سعد بن عبد الله عن سلمة بن الخطاب عن إبراهيم بن محمد عن عمران الزعفراني عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال ما من رجل دعا فختم بقول ما شاء الله لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله إلا أجيبت حاجته
