My father رحمه الله saidit was narrated to us by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, from Aḥmed bin Moḥammed, who said – it was narrated to us by Moḥammed bin Abī ʿUmayr, from ʿAbd Allāh bin Sinān:

From Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام, who said: Whoever says “Glory be to Allāh, and all praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god but Allāh, and Allāh is Greater” (SubḥānAllāh wa Biḥamdihi, SubḥānAllāh al-ʿAdhīm wa Biḥamdihi), Allāh will write for him three thousand good deeds; and will remove three thousand sins; and will raise for him three thousand ranks; and will create from it a bird in heaven, which sings praises [of Allāh], and the reward of his praise [of Allāh] is for him.
