My father رحمه الله said, it was narrated to me by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, who said – it was narrated to me by Aḥmed bin Moḥammed bin ʿĪsa, from al-Ḥussain bin Sayf, from his brother al-Ḥassan, from his brother ʿAlī, from his father, who said – it was narrated to me by al-Ḥajjāj bin Arṭāh, who said – it was narrated to me by, Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir bin ʿAbd Allāh:

From The Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله who said: “The two obligatory things!” (i.e. two conditions that necessitate two results).

He said: “Whoever dies, testifies that there is no god but Allāh – enters Paradise; and whoever dies while associating partners with Allāh – enters the fire.”
