Thawāb al-Aʿmāl, Reward for whoever says: “There is no god but Allāh” (Lā Ilāha Ila Allāh) – Ḥadīth #13

And with this chain, from Aḥmed, from al-Ḥassan bin ʿAlī bin Yaqṭīn, from Moḥammed bin Sinān, from both Ḥamād bin ʿUthmān, and Khalaf bin Ḥamād together, from Rabʿi, from Fudhayl who said:

I heard him say: “Increase your Tahlīl (Lā Ilāha Ila Allāh / There is no god but Allāh) and your Takbīr (Allāhu Akbar / Allāh is greater), for there is nothing more beloved to Allāh than the Takbīr and Tahlīl.”

وبهذا الاسناد، عن أحمد عن الحسن بن علي بن يقطين عن محمد بن سنان عن حماد بن عثمان وخلف بن حماد جميعا عن ربعي عن فضيل قال سمعته يقول أكثروا من التهليل والتكبير فإنه ليس شئ أحب إلى الله من التكبير والتهليل

It was narrated to me by Moḥammed bin al-Ḥassan, who said – it was narrated to me by Moḥammed bin al-Ḥassan al-Ṣaffār, from al-Barqi, from al-Ḥussain bin Sayf, from his brother al-Ḥassan, from Mufadhal bin Ṣaliḥ, from ʿUbayd bin Zurarah, who said:

Abū ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام said: “Saying ‘There is no god but Allāh’ is the price of Paradise.”

حدثني محمد بن الحسن قال حدثني محمد بن الحسن الصفار عن البرقي عن الحسين بن سيف عن أخيه الحسن عن مفضل بن صالح عن عبيد بن زرارة قال: قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام قول لا إله إلا الله ثمن الجنة

It was narrated to me by Moḥammed bin Mūsa bin al-Muttawakil, who said – it was narrated to me by ʿAlī bin al-Ḥussain al-Saʿd Ābādi, from Aḥmed bin Abī ʿAbd Allāh, from Abū ‘Imrān al-ʿAjali, who attributed in a marfu‘ manner:

From The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله, who said: “There is no believer who says‘There is no god but Allāh’, except that his sins upon his manuscript is erased, until it reaches it’s equal in good deeds.”

حدثني محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل قال حدثني علي بن الحسين السعد آبادي عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله قال حدثني أبو عمران العجلي رفعه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ما من مؤمن يقول لا إله إلا الله إلا محت ما في صحيفته من سيئات حتى تنتهي إلى مثلها من حسنات

It was narrated to me by Moḥammed bin ʿAlī  bin Mājīluwiyyah, from ʿAlī bin Ibrāhīm, from his father, from al-Nawfili, from al-Sakūni, from Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام, from his forefathers عليهم السلام, who said:

The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله said: The best of worship is saying ‘There is no god but Allāh.’”

حدثني محمد بن علي بن ماجيلويه عن علي بن إبراهيم عن أبيه عن النوفلي عن السكوني عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام عن آبائه عليهم السلام قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله خير العبادة قول لا إله إلا الله

My father رحمه الله said, it was narrated to me by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, who said – it was narrated to us by Aḥmed bin Abī ʿAbd Allāh who said – it was narrated to me by Abū ʿImrān al-ʿAjali, who said – it was narrated to use by Moḥammed bin Sinān, who said – it was narrated to us by Abū al-ʿAlā’ Al-Khaffāf, who said – it was narrated to us by ʿAṭṭiyah al-ʿOwfi , from Abī Saʿīd al-Khidhri who said:

The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله said: “I never proclaimed, nor did the proclaimers before me proclaim, the like of [the phrase] ‘There is no god but Allāh.’

أبي (ره) قال حدثني سعد بن عبد الله عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله قال حدثني أبو عمران العجلي قال حدثنا محمد بن سنان قال حدثنا أبو العلاء الخفاف قال حدثنا عطية العوفي عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ما قلت ولا قال القائلون قبلي مثل لا إله إلا الله

It was narrated to me by Moḥammed bin al-Ḥassan, who said – it was narrated to me by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, who said – it was narrated to me by Aḥmed bin Hilāl, from ibn al-Fadhāl, from Abī Ḥamza who said:

I heard Abā Jaʿfar عليه السلام say: “There is nothing greater in reward than of the testimony that ‘There is no god but Allāh.’ Nothing is equal to Him, and none other partners Him in the affair.”

حدثني محمد بن الحسن قال حدثني سعد بن عبد الله عن أحمد بن هلال عن ابن فضال عن أبي حمزة قال: سمعت أبا جعفر عليه السلام يقول: ما من شئ أعظم ثوابا من شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله لان الله تعالى لا يعدله شئ ولا يشركه في الامر أحد

And with this chain, from Jābir from ʿAbd al-Ṭufayl:

FromʿAlī صلوات الله عليه, who said: “There is no Muslim servant [of Allāh] who says ‘There is no god but Allāh’, except that it ascends penetrating through every roof. It does not pass by any of his sins except that it effaces it, until it reaches it’s equal in good deeds, so then it stops.”

وبهذا الاسناد، عن جابر عن أبي الطفيل عن علي صلوات الله عليه قال: ما من عبد مسلم يقول لا إله إلا الله إلا صعدت تخرق كل سقف لا تمر بشئ من سيئاته إلا طلستها حتى تنتهي إلى مثلها من الحسنات فتقف

From my father رحمه الله who said, it was narrated to me by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, who said – it was narrated to us by Aḥmed bin Moḥammed bin ʿĪsa, and Ibrāhīm bin Hāshim, and al-Ḥassan bin ʿAlī al-Kūfi, from al-Ḥussain bin Sayf, from ʿUmar bin Shimr, from Jabir bin Yazīd Al-Juʿfi, from Abī Jaʿfar عليه السلام who said:

The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله said: “There is not a thing except it has its equal, other than Allāh, Mighty and Majestic. For nothing is equivalent to him and [the phrase] ‘There is no god but Allāh’, for there is no equal to it and a tear out of fear from Allāh. There is nothing likened to it, for if [a tear] flows down upon a face, he will not be overburdened a stint, nor humiliation, after that – ever.

أبي (ره) قال حدثني سعد بن عبد الله قال حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى وإبراهيم بن هاشم والحسن بن علي الكوفي عن الحسين بن سيف عن عمر بن شمر عن جابر بن يزيد الجعفي عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ليس شئ إلا وله شئ يعدله إلا الله عز وجل فإنه لا يعدله شئ ولا إله إلا الله فإنه لا يعدلها شئ ودمعة من خوف الله فإنه ليس لها مثال فان سالت على وجهه لم يرهقه قتر ولا ذلة بعدها أبدا.

My Father رحمه الله said, it was narrated to me by Saʿd bin ʿAbd Allāh, from Aḥmed bin Hilāl, from al-Fadhl Ibn ʿAbd al-Wahāb, from ‘Isḥāq bin ʿAbd Allāh bin al-Walīd, who attributed in a marfuʿ manner:

From the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله, who said: “Whoever says ‘There is no god but Allāh‘, a tree is be planted for him in Paradise, [made] from red ruby, its fountainhead from white musk, sweeter than honey, and more intense in whiteness than snow, and a scent more aromatic than musk. Within it are fruits the like of the breasts of virgins, bursting out from behind seventy garments.

أبي (ره) قال حدثني سعد بن عبد الله عن أحمد بن هلال عن الفضل ابن عبد الوهاب عن إسحاق بن عبد الله عن عبد الله بن الوليد رفعه قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وآله من قال: لا إله إلا الله غرست له شجرة في الجنة من ياقوتة حمراء منبتها في مسك أبيض أحلى من العسل وأشد بياضا من الثلج وأطيب ريحا من المسك فيها ثمار أمثال أثداء الأبكار تفلق عن سبعين حلة

And with this chain, al-Ḥussain bin Sayf, from his father, from ʿAmru bin Jamīʿ, who attributed in a marfuʿ manner:

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله said: “The price of heaven is ‘There is no god but Allāh.'”

وبهذا الاسناد، عن الحسين بن سيف عن أبيه عن عمر بن جميع رفعه إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: ثمن الجنة لا إله إلا الله
