Reward for the one who says “Glory be to Allāh, and all Praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god but Allāh, and Allāh is Greater”

//Reward for the one who says "Glory be to Allāh, and all Praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god but Allāh, and Allāh is Greater"

Thawāb al-Aʿmāl, Reward for the one who says “Glory be to Allāh, and all Praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god but Allāh, and Allāh is Greater” – Ḥadīth #4

And with this chain, from Aḥmed, from his father, and Moḥammed bin ʿĪsa, from Ṣafwān bin Yaḥya, from Abī Ayūb al-Khazāz, from Abī Baṣīr:1

from Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام who said: One day, The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله said to his companions: “Have you considered if you gathered what you have from the clothes and utensils and then you placed them one on top of the other, do you propose it will reach the sky?”
They said: “No, oh Messenger of Allāh!”
He said: “Shall I point you towards something, which has its roots is in Earth, and its branches are in the skies?”
They said: “Yes, Oh Messenger of Allāh!”
He said: “Each of you should say, after he finishes from his obligatory prayers, “Glory be to Allāh, and all Praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god by Allāh, and Allāh is Greater” (SubḥānAllāh, wal-Ḥamdulillah, wa Lā Ilāha Ila Allāh, Wa-Allāhu Akbar), thirty times – for their roots are on Earth, and their roots are in the skies – and they drive away the destruction, fire, drowining, falling into wells, being devoured by beasts, violent deaths, and the calamity which decends from the sky upon the servant on that day – and they are enduring good deeds.”

1. This ḥadīth has a reliable (Muʿtabar) chain (Hādi al-Najafi).

Thawāb al-Aʿmāl, Reward for the one who says “Glory be to Allāh, and all Praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god but Allāh, and Allāh is Greater” – Ḥadīth #3

It was narrated to me by Moḥammed bin ʿAlī bin Mājīluwayh, from his uncle Moḥammed bin Abī Qāsim, from Aḥmed bin Abī ʿAbd Allāh, who said – it was narrated to us by my father, from Moḥammed bin Sinān, from Abī Jārūd, from Abī Jaʿfar عليه السلام who said:

The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله said: “Whoever says ‘Glory be to Allāh’ (SubḥānAllāh), from it, Allāh will plant a tree for him in heaven.
And whoever says ‘all Praise is due to Allāh’ (al-Ḥamdulillah), from it, Allāh will plant a tree for him in heaven.
And whoever says ‘and there is no god by Allāh’ (Lā Ilāha Ila Allāh), from it, Allāh will plant a tree for him in heaven.
And whoever says ‘Allāh is Greater’ (Allāhu Akbar), from it, Allāh will plant a tree for him in heaven.”
Then a man from Quraysh said: “Oh Messenger of Allāh, our trees in heaven are, indeed, a lot!”
He replied: “Yes, however – beware of sending fire upon them, and you burn them. That is why Allāh, Mighty and Majestic, says: “O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.1

1. Moḥammed (47:33)

My father رحمه الله said – it was narrated to me by ʿAbd Allāh bin Jaʿfar al-Ḥumayri, from Aḥmed bin Moḥammed, from Moḥammed bin ‘Ismāʿīl bin Bazīʿ, from Manṣūr bin Yūnis, from Abī Baṣīr, from Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام, who said:

The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله said: Increase in ‘Glory be to Allāh, and all praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god but Allāh, and Allāh is greater’ (SubḥānAllāh, wal-Ḥamdulillah, wa Lā Ilāha Ila Allāh, Wa-Allāhu Akbar),  for verily, they will come on the day of judgement with them muqadimāt (anterior), mu’akhirāt (posterior), muʿaqibāt (following), and they are the enduring good deeds.

From Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام, who said: The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وآله turned to his companions and said: Take shelter!
They replied to him: Oh Messenger of Allāh, [do you mean] from the enemies that have overshadowed us?
He said: No, but rather from the fire. Say – “Glory be to Allāh, and all Praise is due to Allāh, and there is no god by Allāh, and Allāh is Greater” (SubḥānAllāh, wal-Ḥamdulillah, wa Lā Ilāha Ila Allāh, Wa-Allāhu Akbar).
