Thawāb al-Aʿmāl, Reward for the one who says “All praise is due to Allāh for every blessing, that has passed and is to come” (Al-Ḥamdulillah ʿala Kulla Niʿmatin Kānat Ow Hiya Kā’inah) seven times, everyday – Ḥadīth #1

It was narrated to me by Moḥammed bin al-Ḥassan al-Ṣaffār, from Yaʿqūb bin Yazīd, from Moḥammed bin Abī ʿUmayr, from Moḥammed bin ʿUthmān, from Burayd, from his brother al-Ḥussain, from ʿUmar bin Bazīʿ, from the one who mentioned it:

From Abī ʿAbd Allāh [al-Ṣādiq] عليه السلام who said: Whoever says ‘All praise is due to Allāh for every blessing, that has passed and is to come’ (Al-Ḥamdulillah ʿala Kulla Niʿmatin Kānat Ow Hiya Kā’inah) seven times, everyday, has fulfilled his [required] thankfulness [to Allāh] for what has passed and thankfulness for what is yet to come.
